Chicago and EP update!
Want to see a video of our show in Chicago? This is an oldie, but a goodie. Check it:
This little tidbit was brought to you by Rick's (drums) handy-dandy new GoPro. Supa wide-angle, right? The sound isn't terrible, either. Hopefully it won't clip your speakers.
We had a great time playing with Sequoia, Luring Thieves, and The Whole Damn Town for their EP release. What a rush! When we go out again, we'll have to make sure to have shows along the way so we won't have to bite the whole 8 hour drive in one shot. Cause although Devin (bass) sleeps all the way through car rides, Rick still manages to find ways to pester him. I'll be sure to take video next time so you can more accurately see the situation that happens when you bottle those two personalities within a four square-foot radius.
And an EP update! We're done tracking drums to the four songs and the little surprise we've got planned for this next release! So, really, the hard part is over. Or at least the most difficult, logistically. Hopefully we'll be finished tracking bass soon and then it's just up to yours-truly not to do what I do best, and that's ruin things for everyone else. I'm shooting for the middle of February to have bass and guitar tracking complete so I can rest my voice in the interim (I lost it at the show in Chicago! Fun place, terrible sound situation).
In the meantime, keep spreading the word about our current EP, Campfire Pop, available on Noisetrade, or download it yourself if you haven't already. It's 100% free, but if you wanted to donate $$$, any little bit helps because we're hoping to invest in some merch to release with this next EP. Even amounts as small as one or two dollars (hey, we're broke. Why shouldn't you be?) If we had a little cash on hand, it would make it that much easier on Rick when he buys them for us. Kidding Ricky-kins!
